This amazing video just happened to capture the moment a large iceberg rolled over.
Bigger icebergs will often flip when they first break off from their original ice shelf, rolling into the most stable position. As this video demonstrates, iceberg flipping can also happen to older, smaller icebergs whose shape has changed over time due to uneven melting.
A group of people were admiring an iceberg located close to the coastal town of Triton off the eastern coast of Newfoundland, Canada when the snowy chunk began to flip over in the water and luckily, it was captured on video.
A woman named Sonya Sullivan captured the extraordinary event on a video camera as their boat backed away from the quickly rolling iceberg.
